More than a dozen teachers and staff from schools around Aransas Pass ISD will now have a little extra money for their classrooms this upcoming school year after the local education foundation awarded them thousands of dollars in grants.
During a welcome event on Aug. 8 at A.C. Blunt Middle School, the Aransas Pass ISD Education Foundation presented 16 teachers or teacher teams with Innovative Teaching grants for the 2025-26 school year. In total, the foundation handed out more than $43,000 worth of grants for the school year.
