CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Reconstruction of Bob Hall Pier is on schedule for completion by the end of the year, more than five years after Hurricane Hanna severely damaged the original structure, Nueces County officials said Tuesday.
County Judge Connie Scott led a tour showcasing the work done so far and emphasized the long effort it took to reach this point.
“You’re walking on something that has taken so long to accomplish and to move forward,” Scott said. “Unfortunately that’s a part of government, but you have a commitment from multiple commissioners courts to continue with this.”…
