CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon after the electric scooter he was riding collided with a pickup truck on Business Highway 35, according to Rockport Police Chief Nathan Anderson.
Anderson said the man was traveling westbound on Business 35 at a high rate of speed when he may have run a red light at the intersection with Pearl Street. The scooter struck the side of a full-size silver Dodge pickup, which had a green light at the time, Anderson said.
