ROCKPORT, Texas — City of Rockport manager Vanessa Shrauner confirmed the city is considering a tax hike of approximately 10%.
“Which it’ll fluctuate pennies, half pennies between now and the vote when the vote is actually taken, but it will stay in that 10% range. The product of that 10% is that council has asked us this year to focus on infrastructure and specifically the roads in the city that have been left to deteriorate,” Sharuner said.
