The second ever KRIS Super 6 Showcase highlighted six senior running backs. They were allowed to bring a lineman to compete and showcase their speed, agility and strength. The schools represented are Calallen, Tuloso-Midway, Bishop, Sinton, Odem and Rockport-Fulton. The majority of these running backs led their teams to playoffs last fall.
Athletes competed in a 40-yard dash to see who had the fastest mile per hour, lifted 185 lb. bench press, pushing a half-ton Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, running through an obstacle course and finishing with tug-of-war.

Scores were tallied as a team. So for the 40-yard dash, their average mile per hour determined their position on the leaderboard. Rounds 1-4 points were given as such, (1st: 10 points, 2nd: 8 points, 3rd: 6 points, 4th: 4 points, 5th: 2 points and 6th: 1 point). The final drill was worth double the points.
The winner of the KRIS Super 6 Showcase was Tuloso-Midway running back Damian Figueroa and lineman Ethan Barrientos.
