No injuries reported in house fire on Daytona Dr.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A fire engulfed a single-family home early Wednesday morning along Daytona Drive.

The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) said it received multiple calls regarding smoke coming out of the home just before 5 a.m. Crews got to the scene and quickly knocked the flames out. CCFD Battalion Chief Frank Solansky said that while the back of the home was a total loss, no one was injured.

Solansky said investigators and AEP will be at the scene to ensure the fire’s cause was not an electrical issue…
