Missing Aransas Pass girl declared deceased 35 years later

Blanca Elisa Roberson, who went missing from Aransas Pass in 1989, has been legally declared deceased.

Family members sought an order from an Idaho district court and obtained a judicial declaration of her death on Aug. 4, according to court records.

“Blanca Elisa Roberson has been absent for a continuous period of over thirty-five (35) years, during which time she has not been seen or heard from, despite diligent search and inquiry by her family and law enforcement authorities,” according to a petition filed in the 7th Judicial District in Idaho. “Pursuant to Idaho Code, the Court finds by clear and convincing evidence that Blanca Elisa Roberson is presumed to be deceased.”…
