The Labor Day weekend brought together families, friends and competitors for a good cause – raising funds to benefit the community. Funds generated from Big Lou’s Labor Day Cook-Off will be used to provide shade covers for picnic tables in the county park.
The annual event offered a weekend full of food, fun, fireworks and honoring the late Louis “Big Lou” Salinas, a beloved community member remembered for his kindness, generosity and mastery at the grill.
