Three Rivers, TX – A minor earthquake was detected in South Texas Wednesday afternoon, striking between San Antonio and Corpus Christi.
According to the Texas Seismological Network (TexNet), the 2.5 magnitude quake occurred at 9 a.m. local time (14:00 UTC) about 17 kilometers north-northwest of Three Rivers in Live Oak County. The tremor originated at a depth of approximately 13 kilometers.
