Driscoll Children’s Hospital calls on Hispanic families for pediatric trials

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — At Driscoll Children’s Hospital, the Global Institute for Hispanic Health is looking for children to join several active clinical trials.

Currently, four different trials are enrolling patients, with researchers hoping to boost Hispanic and South Texas representation in pediatric medical studies.

Among the ongoing trials, two stand out — one focused on the continued development of the COVID-19 vaccine for children, and another studying obesity and medications for adolescents.
