CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Six months after a deadly head-on crash on Violet Road near Annaville, a grieving family said they are still waiting for justice.
In March, Mr. Lightfoot received heartbreaking news — his young grandson was killed when another driver slammed into the family’s car along Violet Road. His stepdaughter and son-in-law were both hospitalized and survived, but the boy did not.
“Two days later I got to hold my grandson,” Lightfoot said. “Hold the lifeless body of a child and lay that child on my daughter’s chest.”…
