CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting that left one person dead along North Shoreline Boulevard, police said.
Detectives with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Unit obtained a murder warrant Monday, Sept. 15, for Nathan Iruegas in connection with the shooting. Officers with the Violent Crimes Unit arrested him without incident at a residence in the 3700 block of Lamont Street. He was taken to the City Detention Center for booking.
The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Ryan Lopez, according to the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office. Family members have been notified…
