CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The trial for Enrique Lopez, who was arrested in connection with the death of 3-year-old Augustine “Augie” Valencia, has been delayed.
Lopez, who was the boyfriend of the child’s mother, was originally scheduled to face trial next week. A judge on Thursday reset the case until October.
Lopez is charged with serious bodily harm to a child. Prosecutors had also filed charges against Valencia’s mother, but those charges have since been dropped…
