CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A three-vehicle crash on State Highway 188 near Joey Drive left one woman dead and three others injured Saturday evening.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reported the crash occurred around 5:54 p.m. when a 2016 Nissan Versa, driven by 62-year-old Edith Trotman of Sinton, veered out of its westbound lane into eastbound traffic.
Staff Sgt. Rob Mallory said the Versa first struck a 2014 Honda CRV driven by 54-year-old Sheryl Sczech of Spring Branch. Passenger 23-year-old Lea Dujardin of New Braunfels was also in the Honda.
