CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One Shoreline Plaza, the tallest building in Corpus Christi, is set for auction in October, and Gignac Architects has unveiled a plan that could transform the iconic structure into a multi-use mega-tower unlike anything else in the city.
Nick Gignac, Associate Principal and Project Manager at Gignac Architects, said his firm initially developed the concept for a Houston developer who once explored buying the property. Although that deal never came to fruition, Gignac held onto the concept. With the recent foreclosure of the property and upcoming Oct. 7 auction, Gignac took to his company’s social media pages to share his ideas for the property and vision for the edifice.
