CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It may sound like science fiction, but researchers say the future of flight is already here in South Texas.
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and its Autonomy Research Institute took to the skies Wednesday, staging a large-scale demonstration of autonomous aircraft at the Texas State Aquarium. More than 20 drones launched at once, each sharing live data with teams stationed more than 200 miles away.
