CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A new chapter is underway at the Harte Research Institute at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where scientists are continuing their work to protect coral reef ecosystems across the Gulf and Caribbean.
Researchers with HRI’s Coral Reef and Ocean Health Lab flew from the Florida Keys with about 230 corals as part of Operation Coral Rescue 2.0, a continuation of their groundbreaking coral conservation work that began last year.
