SINTON, Texas — Lace up your running shoes – or walking – and get ready to support local heroes! Registration is underway for the inaugural Sinton Volunteer Fire Department Turkey Trot 5K and 1K Fun Run for children.
The event aims to raise funds for the Sinton Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) – a completely volunteer force of about 30 dedicated members. These are the same first responders who jumped into action during the devastating Sinton Welder Fire back in March, putting their community first in a time of crisis.
Proceeds from the Turkey Trot will go toward purchasing emergency supplies and new equipment, helping ensure the department is prepared for future emergencies…
