CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center is getting into the Halloween spirit with a trio of spooky attractions starting this weekend.
First up, the “Haunted Trail Walks” return on Friday, Oct. 17, and again on Oct. 24, from 8 to 10 p.m. Guests can brave a haunted path filled with ghosts, witches, and creepy surprises, all guided by staff known for caring for snakes and tarantulas.
A hayride will bring visitors back for refreshments in the Reptile Room. Tickets cost $20 and must be purchased online at STXBOT.org. Proceeds benefit animal medical care. The experience is not recommended for children under 11…
