Reigning state champions Smithson Valley girls and Lytle boys won team titles at Monday’s Region IV meet on Monday at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Smithson Valley girls, last year’s Class 5A state champions, placed two in the top 10, for 49 points – 40 better than second place New Braunfels (89). Boerne Champion was third (115).
