CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Medical Center will host its eighth annual Drug Enforcement Administration National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 25.
According to a news release from the hospital, the event aims to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug misuse and encourage the safe disposal of unused and expired medications.
Lisa Robertson, the hospital’s director of communications and community engagement, said the event is part of a nationwide effort to help people “safely and anonymously dispose of medications that may be left over from previous procedures or medical visits.”…
