More than a meal: generations connect at Rockport’s Community Table

\In the warm, bustling kitchen of First Presbyterian Church, the air was rich with the scent of One Pot Spaghetti and fresh-baked rolls. But what truly nourished the soul was the sound of laughter and conversation, shared freely across generations.

Under the watchful eye of instructor Katty Branham, the students took the lead in preparing trays for the church’s Community Table, a free twice-monthly gathering. What started as a class project evolved into a heartfelt experience, where the students discovered the joy of giving back while honing their culinary skills.
