Cheniere Energy’s liquefied natural gas facilities in Gregory are considered as among the highest-polluting within the LNG industry in the United States, a new report released by a national environmental nonprofit asserts.
A press release on the Environmental Integrity Project’s report, titled “Terminal Trouble: Pollution Violations at America’s LNG Export Terminals,” names the Corpus Christi Liquefaction site as second among the top four highest-polluting LNG terminals in air emissions, citing federal and state records.
