Corpus Christi, TX – The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Red Flag Warning through 6 p.m. Tuesday for parts of Webb, LaSalle, Duvall, and McMullen counties, where critical fire weather conditions are expected due to strong winds, very low humidity, and dry vegetation.
Forecasters say south to southwest winds of 15–20 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph, will combine with humidity levels as low as 20%, creating an increased risk of fast-spreading wildfires. Across the Coastal Plains and Victoria Crossroads, lighter winds will still contribute to elevated fire danger…
