The community is invited to join the Coastal Bend Blood Center for their 13th annual Hunting for Donors Blood Drives this week. The drives will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wal-Mart Aransas Pass on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and at Wal-Mart Portland on Thursday, Nov. 20.
The Blood Center must collect more than 150 donations daily to supply the needed blood products to 24 medical partners within the 10 Coastal Bend area counties. Local patients are counting on lifesaving donations, and this blood drive is vital to make sure shelves are restocked from the traumas and heavy blood usage usually experienced over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Every donor that donates at a Hunting for Donors Blood Drive will be entered to win a shotgun, a Centerfire or Rimfire suppressor, Cowboys vs. Vikings football tickets, a $500 H-E-B gift card, a Nintendo Switch 2, a $250 Amazon gift card, a YETI Wetlands Camo Soft Cooler, All Seasons Tree Feeders and much more.
