Corpus Christi man sentenced to 13 years in prison for selling crack cocaine

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A judge sentenced a Corpus Christi man to 13 years in prison on Thursday after pleading guilty to selling crack cocaine from his apartment.

U.S. District Judge David Morales said 38-year-old Evaristo Coleman will serve eight years in prison for drug trafficking and added five years for a firearm charge, which he must serve consecutively, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
