Completion of the new Bob Hall Pier is delayed, according to Nueces County public officials.
While the $28.5 million project was under contract to be built by Jan. 7, 2026, within a 460-day timeline of the project groundbreaking on Oct. 7, 2024, it is now expected to be finished in mid-February to late February of next year, according to Brent Chesney, the Nueces County commissioner for Precinct 4.
