CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Four South Texas cities are done pretending they can handle this drought on their own. After months of private meetings, Corpus Christi, Alice, Beeville and Mathis are forming a regional alliance to pool resources and, when it comes down to it, share water.
On Tuesday night, the Alice City Council became the first to officially sign onto the interlocal agreement.
