Twenty years after he became the 94th District Court judge in Nueces County, Bobby Galvan is planning to hang up his robe, put away the gavel and focus on other legal pursuits.
The Corpus Christi native’s 32 years in public service will end on Dec. 31, 2026, since he didn’t file for reelection.
“It was time to move on,” Galvan told the Caller-Times during an interview in his office on the ninth floor of the Nueces County Courthouse. “I’ve enjoyed the job. It’s time to change gears in life and do something different.”…
