Construction of the new Goliad Health & Wellness Center is entering its final stretch, with the facility expected to be completed by mid-December and patient services scheduled to begin in early February.
Clinic founder Dr. Mary Margaret Ara, a Corpus Christi physician and Goliad County native, said the long-envisioned project is “very close to reality” after years of planning and community anticipation.
The clinic’s medical and administrative team will begin moving into the building at 206 S. Washington Street in mid-January to set up equipment, stock supplies, and begin taking calls and scheduling appointments.
