Flames engulf RV in Bishop, no injuries reported

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An RV fire broke out earlier today near the intersection of 6th St. and Fir Ave. in Bishop, prompting a multi-agency emergency response.

According to the Bishop Police Department, officers responded alongside ESD 3 Fire and the Nueces County Constable Precinct 3 after receiving reports of the fire. Flames and heavy smoke were visible from the RV as crews worked to contain the blaze and secure the surrounding area.

Officials said the fire has since been fully extinguished and there is no ongoing threat to the public. Authorities did not report any immediate injuries and emphasized that nearby residents were not in danger once the scene was stabilized.
