First United Methodist Church
First United Methodist Church traces its history back to 1846, making it one of the earliest Christian presences in Corpus Christi. Over the years, the church has served as a place of worship, education, and refuge, and today it stands along Shoreline Boulevard overlooking Corpus Christi Bay and the iconic “It Is I” statue.
Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal
Established in the late 1800s, the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal is one of Corpus Christi’s oldest places of worship. Located near downtown, the congregation has served the community since 1857 and moved into its current Upper Broadway location in 1926, continuing a long tradition of faith and service.
