CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Over two decades ago, 15-year-old Christian Hall boarded the yacht Gypsy II in Flour Bluff, bound for Florida. The vessel issued a distress call near the Louisiana coast, but when another boater responded, the captain declined help — and Hall, the captain and the boat were never seen again.
In the fall of 2005, Hall was working as a deckhand on a 74-foot boat called the GYPSY II and left with the vessel’s captain, 39-year-old David “Dusty” Andrews.
Hall asked his parents to go on a fishing trip to Florida with Andrews. They told him no. He went anyway…
