CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Amanda Torres was officially sworn in Wednesday as the newest Port of Corpus Christi commissioner, beginning her term on the board that guides policy and development for one of the nation’s largest port complexes.
Nueces County Judge Connie Scott administered the oath of office during a courthouse ceremony.
