Twenty-one young women took center stage Saturday night at Tuloso-Midway High School, competing for the title of 2026 Queen of the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show.
The annual competition highlights agriculture, leadership, and community involvement, honoring young women who represent Nueces County and its agricultural roots. Contestants were evaluated on confidence, communication skills, and their ability to advocate for agriculture which is a core mission of the Junior Livestock Show.
