South Texas – A Winter Storm Watch is now in effect for portions of the Texas Coastal Bend and inland South Texas as a period of freezing temperatures could lead to icy road conditions late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, significant icing is possible, with ice accumulations around one-tenth of an inch forecast across Bee, Goliad, Victoria, Live Oak, McMullen, Inland and Coastal Refugio, Inland and Coastal Calhoun, and Coastal Aransas counties.
