The Taft powerlifting team turned in a productive showing Friday at the Robstown Picker Pride Invitational.
Taft finished seventh in the boys team standings with 21 points.
Emanuel Nino captured first place at 123 pounds with a 975-pound total, lifting 350 pounds in the squat, 275 in the bench press and 350 in the deadlift.
