CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One of the final suspects connected to the 2023 shooting death of Matthew Martinez has been sentenced to 28 years in prison after taking a plea deal.
Jesse Delagarza was sentenced in court by 319th District Court Judge David Stith Thursday to 28 years in state prison for murder and 20 years for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after pleading guilty.
