The article I just read in (the Feb. 24) Caller-Times about the Inner Harbor desal plant is just plain craziness. Haven’t the people spoken clearly enough about our opposition? Isn’t it plain to see that the smart answer is the Harbor Island plan which would provide much greater output, with the opportunity to expand with even greater output, all the while dumping the sludge into the Gulf instead of our shallow swimming pool bay. And Harbor Island preserves Hillcrest for its residents.
