For Vance Dawson of Dawson’s Recycling and Disposal in Gregory and Andrew Duckett with the Gregory Gin Company, life is about more than profit – especially in a small town. And in that spirit, the pair is partnering with local law enforcement and community individuals to put as many smiles on children’s faces as possible.
On April 4, the Gregory Police Department is teaming up with Dawson’s, the Gregory Gin Company, Lone Star Crane, and others to host a monster Easter Egg hunt for local children at the city park in Gregory.
Children ages 6 and under will have the first run, which Dawson said is scheduled to start around noon, while those ages 7-12 will run after that. Dawson said those times could change slightly based on turnout and other factors. In total, he said, there will be more than 4,000 eggs and 360 Cascorones laid out by volunteers from Gregory PD, Lone Star Crane, the Gregory Gin Company, and more for kids to enjoy…
