Corpus Christi to receive nearly $3.7M in state grants for wastewater and water projects at military bases

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi is receiving more than $3 million in new state funding aimed at strengthening military infrastructure and water systems at two key defense facilities.

The funding comes through Governor Greg Abbott’s announcement of more than $26 million in grants distributed to Texas military communities under the Texas Military Preparedness Commission’s Defense Economic Adjustment Assistance Grant program.
