Medina Valley ISD selects lone finalist for top job with San Antonio ties

A superintendent from the Corpus Christi-area is set to take the top job at the growing Medina Valley Independent School District near San Antonio.

Board members voted to name Emily Lorenz as the lone finalist for the superintendency in a unanimous vote on Wednesday. The vote came after outgoing leader Scott Caloss announced his retirement in February, kicking off a nearly two-month superintendent search.
