CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Gas prices are climbing in Corpus Christi, with drivers now paying an average of $3.76 per unleaded gallon — more than a dollar higher than the $2.62 average this time last year.
Experts say much of that increase is tied to the rising cost of crude oil, which makes up the majority of what consumers pay at the pump.
