The City of Aransas Pass has extended its declaration of emergency due to dwindling water resources and the threat of continued severe drought conditions around the region, with the declaration set to continue until further notice.
According to an announcement posted on the city’s social media pages, the city has extended the Water Shortage Emergency, effective as of April 30. It will continue, the declaration said, until the city declares conditions improved enough to be lifted.
