CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 17-year-old male was hospitalized in critical condition early Sunday morning after a shooting at Cole Park, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Officers were dispatched at 4:49 a.m. to the 1700 block of Ocean Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the juvenile male with gunshot wounds and immediately began administering first aid until medics arrived. The victim was then transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Around the same time, an adult male arrived separately at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Police have not confirmed whether the two incidents are connected, though investigators believe both stem from the same disturbance…
