Roswell Pride festival celebrates inclusivity

ROSWELL, Ga. — Around 500 people participated in Roswell’s second annual Pride Walk June 13, parading up and down Mimosa Boulevard in vibrant colors and highlighting what an inclusive community looks like.

As music played, festivalgoers browsed booths featuring local businesses, tried their hand at shaping clay or got Free Mom Hugs from volunteers.

People gathered to hear remarks from Jennifer Donlon – founder of Roswell Empowered and the event’s organizer – who recognized the hard work of the more than 20 volunteers present during the event and collaboration between different organizations…
