While some new people are coming to Georgia from Connecticut to join incoming Gwinnett County Public Schools superintendent Alexandra Estrella, folks shouldn’t worry about what this means for interim Superintendent Al Taylor.
While the chief of schools position Taylor held before he became GCPS’ interim leader will go to Mary-Anne Sheppard, who is following Estrella from Norwalk Public Schools, Taylor will remain in the district and become its new chief accountability and engagement officer next week. Taylor will work in the Division of Strategy, Performance and Accountability.
