U.S. Rep. Andrew Clyde recently celebrated three high school and college students from Gwinnett County who are heading to military service academies.
Clyde nominated Dacula resident Tanner Brannock and Suwanee resident Divya Tiwary to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Buford resident Alexander Lee to the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y. All three went on to earn appointments to the academies they were nominated for.
The trio signed their appointments during a ceremony at Clyde’s district office in Gainesville on June 18. They are among five students from Gwinnett County, including two who were recognized last month, who were nominated by Clyde and got a service academy appointment…
