A new restaurant opened in Canton Monday, offering the community a taste of Louisiana.
The owners, Courtney and Tyler Cook, opened their second Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou location Monday at 361 E. Main St. in downtown Canton. They opened their first Flatlands restaurant in Alpharetta 10 years ago. They also own The Southern Porch in Alpharetta.
The new Canton restaurant’s menu items include po boys, shrimp and grits, catfish Pontchartrain, Louisiana Cajun fried chicken, crawfish etouffee, gouda burger, spicy chicken sandwich and more…
