Milton City Council to vote on $10M settlement in deadly 2016 crash

The Milton City Council is set to vote Monday night on a proposed $10 million settlement stemming from a deadly 2016 car crash.

Yale University student Joshua Chang died after his car swerved off Batesville Road and crashed into a concrete planter owned by the city.

Chang’s parents sued Milton, arguing their son would still be alive if the city had removed the planter near the road.

The lawsuit eventually reached the Georgia Supreme Court before the two sides reached the proposed settlement agreement…
